old times, good drinks, moving on
New Years Eve is tomorrow. Have you made your resolution. Each year I pick one BIG resolution -- and unlike most foos -- I actually follow through with it. It is my one big personal project that I focus on all year long. In the past I've had quite the gammit:
get closer to God, focus more on appearance, be a better friend, etc. Shallow to prosaic. Or vice versa.
This year I haven't decided what my biggest fault is that needs worked on.
But I think that I'll end this year with a list of 10 beautiful things:
1. Remembering old times and old friends -- and seeing how far we've all come.
2. Knowing that I don't have to go anywhere or do anything this whole weekend if I don't want.
3. Longfellow moving on to better things -- go you!
4. Being able to see the stars at night
5. Chilled champagne
6. No regrets
7. Cats wanting their bellies rubbed
8. Kisses goodbye -- kisses in general
9. Bubble baths
10. Clean sheets
