oh boy
So I think that it is time for me to move on beyond the religious beliefs I've held for so long.
While many core ideas and beliefs continue on with me --I am tired of the nonsense that is to be blinded trusted in. I feel more connected to ideas that are older than Christianity (Tao, Buddhism, Egyptian monotheism). More and more I agree with islam and judaism that Jesus was a prophet, or a great man that knew how to live a harmonious life. I believe in a monotheistic world. I keep leaning towards life as a journey for our soul, where we must learn certain lessons to move on to the next. I tend to believe that the world and our lifes are fated in a very broad sense.
I don't believe in heaven or hell, but that a soul is eternal. But yet, I still believe in the book of Revelations. I have some thinking to do. Anyone else having a major breakthrough?
